Guillaume Jabbour, Christina Beaudry-Cardenas, Bill Gossage, Claude Hurtubise, et Carl Rufh composent la formation Jabbour. L’identité du groupe s’est solidifiée lors de leur tournée en Colombie-Britannique en 2015, lorsque les musiciens ont commencé à comprendre qu’ils avaient trouvé leur place sur la scène de la musique folk canadienne. Cet hiver-là, le groupe a enregistré son premier album 'Round the Clock pendant un week-end sur la scène de la salle de concert Oscar Peterson, à Montréal. Ce premier album leur a valu un prix Auteur-compositeur Stingray, une diffusion sur les réseaux SiriusXM, Stingray, CBC, ICI Musique Radio-Canada et plusieurs stations communautaires et universitaires, ainsi que deux tournées dans les Maritimes et plusieurs participations à divers festivals. 

En 2019, Jabbour fait paraître son deuxième album Saint Bernard, réalisé par John McColgan, qui obtient également une excellente diffusion. Des tournées à travers le Québec, l'Ontario, la Saskatchewan et le Manitoba, des vitrines de conférence à Folk Alliance et Folk Music Ontario et des concerts au Festival Folk sur le Canal de Montréal supportent cette parution.

Le groupe a continué à mûrir et à évoluer musicalement, et à l'automne/hiver 2020/21, avec le soutien du Conseil des Arts du Canada, enregistre Carling Lake, un album de 12 chansons encore une fois réalisé par John McColgan, lors de la pandémie.

L'album les a menés sur plusieurs scènes canadiennes, dont le Victoria Playhouse (ÎPÉ.), la série de concerts du Mont Carmel (ÎPÉ), la scène d'une vitrine officielle Folk Music Ontario (ON), MUZ - Vision Diversité (QC), Superfolk Morin Heights (QC) et la Zone Musique Place d'Armes (QC). Le groupe travaille actuellement de nouveaux arrangements avec la toute nouvelle formation de cinq membres et prévoit lancer un single de sa chanson I Didn't Know en 2025.

Guillaume Jabbour, Christina Beaudry-Cardenas, Bill Gossage, Claude Hurtubise, and Carl Rufh are the members of Jabbour. The band’s identity was solidified during their 2015 BC tour, when the musicians began to understand that they had found a home in Canada’s folk music scene, particularly identifying with the country’s official language minorities (Quebec’s English and Canada’s french-speaking communities). That winter, the band recorded their debut album, 'Round the Clock, over a weekend on the stage of the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall (Montreal, Qc). This first release gained them a Stingray Songwriter Award, airplay on SiriusXM, Stingray, CBC, ICI Radio-Canada and multiple community and university stations, two Maritime tours and festival appearances.

In 2019, Jabbour released their second album Saint Bernard, produced by John McColgan, which led to continued airplay, tours throughout Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, conference showcases at Folk Alliance and Folk Music Ontario, and concerts at Montreal’s Folk on the Canal Festival and other Quebec festivals.

The band continued to mature and evolve musically, and during the fall and winter of 2020/2021 with support from the Canada Council for the Arts, they recorded Carling Lake, a 12-song album produced by John McColgan, during a pandemic.

The album led them to multiple Canadian stages including  the Victoria Playhouse (PEI), Mont Carmel Concert Series (PEI), Folk Music Ontario Official Showcase Stage (ON), MUZ - Vision Diversité (QC), Superfolk Morin Heights (QC), and Zone Musique Place d'Armes (QC). The band is currently working on new arrangements with the all-new five-member line-up, and they plan on releasing a single of their song I Didn't Know in 2025.
